Job Description

A Car Wash Attendant is responsible for cleaning, washing, and maintaining the appearance of customers’ vehicles to ensure they are returned in excellent condition. They provide high-quality vehicle cleaning services by washing, drying, vacuuming, polishing, and detailing both the interior and exterior of cars. Their attention to detail, efficiency, and commitment to customer satisfaction help create a positive experience and build customer trust.

Car wash attendants inspect vehicles before and after cleaning, identify areas that require special attention, and use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to achieve the best results without damaging the vehicle. They ensure that windows, mirrors, wheels, tires, and body surfaces are thoroughly cleaned while maintaining the highest standards of care and professionalism.

In addition to vehicle cleaning, attendants are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the work area, operating and maintaining washing equipment, restocking cleaning supplies, and following workplace safety procedures. They also interact with customers by explaining available services, answering questions, and ensuring every vehicle meets the customer’s expectations before it is returned.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, dry, and polish vehicle exteriors.
• Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors, including seats, carpets, and dashboards.
• Clean windows, mirrors, wheels, tires, and other vehicle components.
• Apply wax, polish, or protective coatings when required.
• Inspect vehicles before and after cleaning to ensure quality standards.
• Operate and maintain car wash equipment and cleaning tools.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Restock cleaning materials and report equipment issues.
• Follow safety procedures and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
